MBTI®

At Shine People we use a range of internationally recognised and validated tools in our work.  Before proposing the use of a specific tool we first work with you to understand the issue and the outcomes you are looking for.  We then tailor the solution to fit.  The MBTI® instrument is one of the tools we use.  Here's why.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) instrument has helped millions of individuals throughout the world gain awareness about themselves and how they interact with others. The MBTI® instrument enables personal transformation by giving people a powerful tool for improving how they communicate, learn and work.  Outcomes are improved relationships.

  • The MBTI® instrument is the most widely used personality assessment in the world – more than 2 million people worldwide each year
  • Most Fortune 100 companies use it
  • Translated into 30 languages
  • Used in 70+ different countries
We are MBTI certified to undertake assessments, interpret results, provide coaching feedback and run development programmes.

What others have to say about  our MBTI® development programmes

"I enjoyed learning about MBTI, the knowledge helps me better understand my workmates.  It has helped  me to be a better manager and adapt to the needs of my staff as well as understand the decision making processes of our management team.  I would highly recommend the course for any team, as it brings the team closer together and facilitates working together.  Denise is a wonderful instructor and facilitator who puts everyone at ease, explains things very well, while keeping a light a fun atmosphere."  (Team Development workshop)

“Very interesting to step back and think of things in this way.  If only it was compulsory for all staff members of any organisation to attend something like this.”  (Team Development workshop)

“Helped me to become more aware of my interpersonal and communication style and how to adapt it with people around me” (Leadership development)

“I’m now less frustrated with the way other people do things.  They’re not trying to annoy, it’s just how they are wired” (Team Development workshop)
